Apprentership Highlight. Iwan Jones, Quantity Surveyor
Our quantity surveying apprentice, Iwan Jones, has completed his undergraduate degree in Quantity surveying and Construction Management.
Iwan has been studying at the Liverpool John Moore University for the past 5 years, working 4 days a week at OBR and 1 day a week at University.
It has been a long journey, working through the pandemic and days of online lectures, to balancing work and university study. But credit to Iwans resilience and talent, he has passed with highest honours.
“The apprentice scheme offered by OBR has been perfect for my professional and personal aspirations. Being able to gain first-hand experience in construction and learning the theory of the industry at University has given me a broad understanding of what lies ahead. It has enabled me to gain a full undergraduate degree, fully funded by OBR, and I can now look forward to progressing my career debt free.
They have supported me every step of the way, giving me the time and mentorship in my studies”
Da iawn Iws! Everyone here at OBR are proud of your achievement.
